H-O2 discussion…
Wednesday the 21st of April, had a trip to the O2 and talked to teh stage guy who works there, Neil. A meeting was planned for this day and it was dubious whether we were going to be invited along due to some ‘management concerns’, but hey, that seems to be sorted now. It was certainly useful for everyone involved that we were there and we are able to push ahead with our plans. Neil had experience with water projection before and he is definitely up for it all working. He laid out the issues but agreed what we’re doing is, doable, just got to nail down the health and safety, make sure there’s no leaks. This gave Sarah and particularly Phil Beards (who is now also organising the event) a bit more ease with it all. Neil has also managed to blag a 6000 lumen projector and ‘back-up’ screen for £300, rental. So as it is, we’re PLAN A, the other screen is PLAN B…
Now we just have to make sure it’s ok with the BA Fashion people.
